The summer school and workshop is organized by the Division of Healthcare Informatics and Logistics, at the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Health Systems.
Chairs:

Prof. Sebastiaan Meijer
Professor in Health Care Logistics. Specialised in simulation, gaming and other participatory methods to capture real-world complexity in innovation processes. Interests in theory of design of complex adaptive systems and the backbones of society. Working mostly on health care, health prevention and promotion systems, but equally interested in other large-scale questions.
Assoc. Prof. Adam Darwich
Associate Professor of Health Systems Engineering with a research interest in modelling and simulation methods to inform decision-making in healthcare and pharmaceutical research. This, as well as evidence generation for medical technologies. Further, we are actively persuing research in the use of real-world data to generate real-world evidence.


Assoc. Prof. Jayanth Raghothama
Associate Professor in Healthcare Logistics, with a research interest in informatics, modelling (simulation and machine learning) and participatory methods. Currently works in healthcare, with previous experience in urban planning and agriculture.
